PROGRAMS
We believe in exploring new frontiers of learning and fostering earth-based relationships through the harmonious reintegration of ancestral wisdom. By rediscovering how traditional planting methods and ancestral practices can empower our students and communities, we aim to promote environmental harmony.
With this in mind, step into Seed2Fork Farm, where vibrant spaces and a nourishing lifestyle are cultivated. Since its inception in 2016, our STEM/Art Integration program has served both rural and urban communities through after-school, in-class, and gardening programs. We do more than just plant and harvest; we foster a sense of belonging and respect. Our efforts go beyond growing fruits and vegetables—we are cultivating a future where every student can thrive, rooted in the values of love, respect, and resilience.
BIPOC CULTURAL GARDEN FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
We empower students and promote 21st Century life skills, self- discovery, and environmental stewardship. in this 8-month fellowship Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) are integrated with art and culture through a series of modules led by community partners. Students become research scientists and develop leadership skills as they explore pathways for their future.
Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math (STEM) Project
We implement STEM projects in schools, senior centers, and urban/rural communities throughout King and Pierce Counties. Our STEM students transform into research scientists, using magnifying glasses and journals to solve problems and address issues that impact both themselves and their communities.
GARDEN ART INTERGRATION
Our Garden Art Integration projects foster a sense of garden community, allowing adults of all ages and students to express their historical and cultural identities, raise awareness about social issues, and inspire creativity and wonder throughout the garden. This is achieved through the creation of beautiful art murals, masks, and art flags.
RAINBOW CULINARY AND HEALTH AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
Our after-school program offers nutrition cooking classes and exercise activities. It's not just another program; students demonstrate interpersonal communication skills, listening, and teamwork through these classes. They also create their own Rainbow Cookbook.
